THE DARJEELING LIMITED

“The Darjeeling Limited” starring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman is an emotional comedy about three brothers re-forging family bonds. The eldest, played by Wilson, hopes to reconnect with his two younger siblings by taking them on a train trip across the vibrant and sensual landscape of India.
Their “spiritual quest”, however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins. Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and Jason Schwartzman star in this film about their adventure and their friendship.

My 2 cents:

I've been looking forward to this movie.Wes Anderson is one of my fav. film maker because he's not afraid of creating experimental themed movies, which we hardly see nowadays. If you like this one, make sure you see his previous work, one of my fav' being the funny 'BOTTLE ROCKET'. While im at it, let me just point out of of the goof i found from the film. If you look closely(provide you can read Hindi) at one of the poster, its written MahaLaxmi Mandir Udaipur( that's Mahalaxmi's Temple in Udaipur Rajasthan)...and the title is as you know THE DARJEELING LIMITED. and Darjeeling is not in Rajasthan, its a hill station(a very popular holiday destination). So, enjoy this film and pls leave comments or not...who cares:)
